Transformers Characters You Should Know About

Welcome to the first segment of this page where I at least try to contain the urge to list every single Transformer I care about.

The descriptions are rather short, so you know the bare bones basics.

Some characters are shown as a slideshow to show versions from various continuities.

This is because while the eye of a trained Transformers fan is capable of identifying a character by looking at 10 pixels in the backround, normal people do not possess this ability.

The OGs

Optimus Prime

Leader of the Autobots. One of his most well-known quotes, "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings", really encompasses his values as a leader. He fights for everyone's right to exist no matter what. This is basically the one guy everyone knows about.

Megatron

Leader of the Decepticons. How evil he is and what his exact goals are vary wildly across the franchise.
